Completed "All Aboard For Mexico" Image for Children's Picture Book
/A flock of swallows has joined the party. They’re heading for Capistrano, just this side of the border with Mexico. Betty Burro is boarding right behind Jimmy and Buddy. It’s great to have another character along for the trip.
Today I completed this “all aboard” image. Drawing the crowd of tiny figures was a little intimidating. I like the picture and I see that it’s very busy. I’m hoping that it’s a picture that someone would linger on to figure out what’s going on, and to admire the airplane’s magic moustache. Tomorrow I’m moving on to drawing the interior of the plane. It’s going to be packed with swallows!
