The High Five Page is Finished — On to InDesign Next

Almost finished with this one. It needs some sparks where their hands meet.

This is the next to last picture in my second children’s picture book. I say that the artwork is “complete,” but I’ll no doubt be touching up all of the images before the book is ready for publication. Overall I’m in much better shape with this book that I was with the first. I established the size of the pages at the beginning (8” by 8”) and didn’t think once about creating an e-book version. I’ll get to that later.

My next step is to export all of the project images from Clip Studio Paint to Photoshop PSB files, which I will import into InDesign. It’s been a while since I’ve worked with InDesign, but I believe I’ll get into a good work flow quickly.

Working with Clip Studio Paint was a dream. It’s got all of the features a comic artist needs to produce comics quickly and efficiently.
