It's Still Snowing in Southern Oregon

I spent a good part of the day thinking about moving to someplace warm, like Hawaii. I went to Zillow to see what’s going on in Hawaii. I found the perfect little house with a grand porch for just sitting in the heat. Every room had floor to ceiling windows, and the yard was a tropical paradise with avocado trees and mangos.

Then I checked out L.A, which I’ve been doing regularly this winter. Then I checked out Tokyo, which I’ve been doing frequently over the past three years. Then Helsinki, which is definitely less desirable because of the really cold temperatures. Still, I’m curious enough about Finland and it’s awesome social values, which might be able to outweigh it’s formidably cold climate.

And I painted more of page eight. I still have to paint the rowdy elephants dragging each other up the rope bridge.

Big Storm Bears Down On Southern Oregon

Big winds are blowing in from the South. The electricity is going out around the valley. The trees are howling and pine cones are crashing down on the deck. Garbage cans are rolling around in the street. Any moment we’ll be be under a foot of snow. I’m thinking that it would be really great to live a little further south, perhaps in the Highland Park district of Los Angeles.
