Character Design -- The Easter Island Volcano Spirit

Today I focused on drawing the volcano spirit, who happens to look a lot like a magical orange tabby. I painted these picture with Krita using the Digital Atelier Oil 07 Big Rough brush. I like this brush because it’s really wet and bristly and messy. There many more useful oil paint brushes in the brush package that I’m curious about, but I’m trying to avoid getting distracted by them. One brush a day is a good path for me.
These brushes are not free. When you buy them from the Krita web site, the money helps support the Krita project. It feels good to give them a hand.
