Flatting Children's Picture Book Drawings with Clip Studio Paint

Each page of my book is a single panel. I’ll add dialog later. All of the objects are on their own layer. I can reposition them if necessary to accommodate speech bubbles.

Today I finally understand how to use Clip Studio Paint’s panels (frames), with the help of Aaron Rutten’s Youtube video How to Make Comic or Manga Panels the Easy Way — Clip Studio Paint. Well done, Dude!

Using Clip Studio Paint's Frames for My Children's Picture Book

For this book I’m going to print images inside of frames. I will use several full-bleed images for dramatic effect, but, for the most part, I want to avoid errors that might lead to flashes of white at the borders of the pages. The images above show a Clip Studio frame in action, and the resulting image with crop marks. I’ll use those crop marks to position the images when I import them into Adobe InDesign.
