Page 48 -- Hey, I'm still working on it!

I thought I’d be done with this page, but I screwed up two ways. First, painted the tabby volcano cat and accidentally deleted the layer. The file was not backed up and made some many edits after I deleted the layer that I couldn’t undo to get back to the deleted layer. I’ll have to repaint the cat tomorrow.

Secondly, I forgot to draw the filter canisters for Betty and Tuca’s gas masks. I roughed them in with pretty blue and green paint so I won’t forget them tomorrow.

My contract job starts in 10 days and I have 24 more pages to paint to get this book finished. I’ll be lucky if I can finish 4 or 5 pages before I go back to work. When I’m doing the contract thing, I can finish at best two pages a week. There have been pages that take three weeks to complete when I’m able to work for only a few minutes a day on my book.
